Wednesday Luncheon

Each week we host a Wednesday Luncheon featuring delicious food and interesting speakers. Talks cover a wide range of subjects of nautical and community interest. Additionally in the tradition of the club our Wednesday luncheon is open to the public. This is a great opportunity for not-yet-members to get acquainted with the club, meet other members and have a wonderful day on the marina.

The white table cloth luncheons feature an artfully presented three-course lunch followed by a thirty to forty minute presentation. The topics can include anything of broad interest to the yachting community. Recent speakers covered members’ travels and cruises, Catalina developments and the design of America’s Cup boats.

Reservations are encouraged, so if you plan to join us please call the club office at (310) 831-1203 to confirm your attendance. The Luncheon starts at noon and wraps up about 1:30. Lunch is $20 plus tax and visitors may pay by cash or credit card at the club.

Additionally, in the tradition of the club, the Wednesday luncheons are open to the public.   • Soup

  • Roasted Vegetable Soup

    Diced roasted bell peppers, yellow squash, onions, broccoli and cauliflower florets, perfumed with fresh rosemary sprigs. Simmered with chicken broth and a splash of cream, and pureed. Garnished with sliced baguette.

  • Quiche Entrée

    Choice of ham and cheese or bacon and vegetable. Served with a watermelon feta cheese salad: cubed watermelon, sliced strawberries, crumbled feta cheese, and mixed field greens tossed with lemon vinaigrette.

    Vegetarian options available upon request.
